HOW DO I GET OVER MY NERVES TO GO LIVE ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE
Get yourself to take action even when you're nervous

Recently Sonia shared: “My struggle with Facebook is doing live-streams on my business page, I get so nervous.”

Well Sonia… think of it like this…

Video transcript:

Hi, I’m Christina with Leads and Leverage, and I help real estate agents sell more houses using Facebook.

Today’s question comes from Sonia, from our Facebook for Real Estate Agents groups.

Sonia says, “My struggle is actually doing live streams on my business page. I get so nervous, despite being fabulous on camera.”

And, Sonia IS fabulous on camera.

And, she’s comfortable going live inside her private group.

She’s comfortable going live on her personal profile.

But on her business page… that’s where she’s uncomfortable.

So, here’s the thing.

Number one, if you go live on your business page, then you need to make sure that you have maybe a little outline of a script of what to say.

Remember that you’re talking to an individual person.

Yeah, there might be lot’s of people looking, but don’t think of it like that.

There might be lots of people watching it, but if you’re looking at the camera, make sure that you consider this an individual person.

Secondly, know that live is very, very forgiving.

Live stream is amazing because it’s authentic, it’s real, it’s not scripted, and that’s why people like live stream, because you can’t edit live stream.

So, just know that people want to see the real you.

So, you can be the real you.

You can be frazzled, you can be whatever you want.

But, I would go in, number one, that is one individual person, the camera lens, is one individual person that you’re talking to, and visualize yourself talking to that person, and answering a question, helping them with the process, et cetera.

Don’t worry about your live viewers, especially in the beginning.

They’re gonna come with you, and keep coming back.

And then, once you get more comfortable, and people start coming and engaging, then you can engage with them.

But, the goal here, is really to just see that it’s one individual that you’re talking to, and to just do it.

You have to practice, you have to, not just practice, like, you have to do it. In order to get better at it, you have to keep doing it. It’s literally quantity, it’s quantity.

So, that’s what you wanna focus on, Sonia.

Alright you guys, if you have any other questions, let me know.
